The NY strip and French toast were excellent! Staff was very attentive and friendly. I'd eat here again. I only found out about this place due to word of mouth. It did not come up in my search results eventhough it was only a few blocks from my hotel.
We visited Double Nickel on Mother’s Day, and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Even with the holiday crowd, we arrived early and were seated very quickly. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of great energy. The bottomless mimosas were so good, the music had us moving in our seats, and the games on TV kept everyone entertained. The chicken and waffles were packed with flavor, and the French toast was so terrific that I was full after only eating half of it. A special thank you to the hostess, waitress, and manager for making us and our family from out of town feel so welcome. The staff provided fantastic service all around. This place truly exceeded expectations — I’d give it a 20 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommend!
My wife and I took my mom to brunch here before going to the art museum and it was incredible. The service was friendly and quick. The decor was so cute. We got the gold pancakes, the gold french toast, catfish, and chicken and waffles. Literally every single dish was amazing. I will be day dreaming about the chicken wings for the rest of my life. And the French toast was literally the most delicious French toast I have ever had. We went on a Saturday and did not have to wait for a table and there was parking available nearby.
